Danielle Alvarez, the founder of The Bonita Project, came up in the vibrant, eclectic city of Miami.
After graduating from the University of Florida, she packed up her life and moved to New York City determined to make her mark at a boutique agency. She landed at a top PR company where she hooked up with a variety of mass and prestige beauty and lifestyle brands to manage product launches, coordinate events, and handle outreach to press and influencers alike. It’s also where she built an entire division focused on multicultural media throughout the U.S., partnering with publications like Latina, People en Español, Essence, Ebony, and more to promote and expand her client base.
As a result of gaining a deep understanding of the nuances of the cross-cultural consumer, Danielle decided to aim even higher and launch The Bonita Project where she bridges the gap between general and multicultural markets to build buzz for her brands and create a detailed, creative, and inclusive PR strategy for every client.

Erika has a degree in Marketing & Advertising and life has come full circle as she is now the founder and creative mind behind By Erika Batista, a lifestyle blog. The blog started as a hobby nearly 7 years ago after her first child was born. Erika created what was then Lola Blue, the closet, as an avenue to retain the things she cherished - being independent, stylish, hard working - but mostly a means to aid her amidst chaos of being a first-time mom. At the end of 2015, Erika decided to become a full-time blogger and since then she has had the opportunity to work with globally renowned brands such as Google, Neutrogena, Johnson & Johnson, Coca Cola, Olay and many more. She has been featured in several media outlets including Latina Magazine, People en Espanol and El Diario NY. She has also been the host of a few Spanish speaking TV segments for both Univision and Telemundo.
She currently uses her platforms to document bits and pieces of her daily life as a wife and mom of two young children but most importantly, she uses her social media presence to empower and influence other Latinas. One of Erika’s biggest passions is to stand up for what she believes in and is often quiet vocal about social issues, immigration topics and natural disasters. She is also a proud supporter of organizations like St. Jude’s Hospital, important causes like Breast Cancer Awareness and giving back to her community.
Last but not least, Erika’s biggest pride and joy is her family. She is a proud wife to Dave and mother to Ben & Emme, who are often featured on her brand partnerships and social media channels. But all this success and achievements have not been handed to her, Erika owes her “American dream” life to her loving and hard-working single mother who raised her to be an independent, motivated, goal getter.
